Providence Prime

On Tuesday, March 8th, I went to Providence Prime on Federal Hill with my parents. When we walked in it was very crowded but it was warm and inviting inside. I brought a sketch pad but forgot my pencil and the waitress brought me crayons to draw with. The table was also covered with paper to draw on.

When we got to our table we sat down and looked through the menu. My mom and dad asked if there was a kids menu.  The waitress told us there wasn't one but there were other options. There was a burger and sandwich menu, macaroni and cheese from the sides menu, and pasta or chicken fingers that weren't on the menu.  I chose the chicken fingers. I thought it was cool that I could order something that wasn't on the menu.

After we ordered, they brought over a basket of different kinds of bread.  Instead of butter the bread was served with oil to dip your bread in.  I really liked the oil because it tasted great and had herbs in it.

Soon my chicken fingers came.  They were on a huge square plate and came with french fries. They were also very hot.  I had to break them apart so they would cool off.  They tasted perfect and were the best chicken fingers I ever had.  I wish I had a million of them to eat.  The french fries were OK.  They could have used a little salt or seasoning.  I would go back to Providence Prime because the chicken fingers were really good.

  1. The Hot Dog Blog is back!! Haven't tried this restaurant myself yet Jayden, but after reading your review I would totally go there! Like that you were able to order something off the menu, that is an excellent tip and insider information.

Sounds like a bit of a fancy place, did you end up doing some drawings? Now we know where to get the best chicken fingers in the city, Providence Prime! I too really like it when they have all the different breads to try with the oil and seasonings, big fan of that.

Very good review, will keep checking back for more :) At first glance in your photo of the bread I thought the candle holder was an ornate goblet that you had to drink from. And that it was all covered in jewels and gold! Made me think to myself, wow, that place is really fancy and fit for a king!!

    Great job Jayden!
